Holidays!!!

In the previous two weeks we had the Term holidays!!!

I was asked to write a P.M.I about my holidays, so here we go!

Plus

  • We had holidays
  • NZ won the rugby world cup
  • I stayed in Grandma and Grandad’s holiday home in Raumati
  • I played on the computer a lot of the time ( Okay, pretty much all of the time)
  • We went to the chocolate factory in Raumati

Minus

  • It rained lot’s
  • Areth and Mum are going to Armageddon and Areth went ha, ha, and things
  • We are back at school
  • Dad didn’t take me to see a movie like he said he would
  • I didn’t find the underground jungle in Terraria

Interesting

  • I found the same piece of driftwood I had 3 years ago
  • Areth let me borrow her I pod for the holiday ( Because her and Mum didn’t come )
  • My cousin came over for several days
  • I found out my bow was really powerful for a home made bow
  • I searched on trade me for a compound bow

Flags! ( world flags, not the game )

I am today writing about 4 country’s flags: Libya, Papua New Guinea, Germany and Kenya.

Libya:

The Libyan flag was chosen by Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi. The green was to symbolize his political philosophy (after his Green Book)

Papua New Guinea:

The flag of Papua New Guinea has all the traditional colors, The Bird Of Paradise – is an emblem of regional tribal emergence of Papua New Guinea as a nation, the Southern Cross symbolizes Papua New Guinea’s connection to Australia and some other countries in the South Pacific.

Germany:

The colors on Germany’s flag played an important part in their history, these colors can be traced back to the banner of the Holy Roman Emperor in medieval times – a black eagle with red claws and beak on a gold field.

Kenya:

Kenya’s flag has black, red and green with white outlining the red and a large Maasai warrior’s shield covering crossed spears.

The black symbolizes the majority population, red the blood shed in the struggle for freedom, green stands for national wealth and white for peace.

The shield and crossed spears symbolize the defense of freedom.

I hope this information helped you but that’s all for today. =]
